DIISIS is a UI-agnostic dialogue plugin, trimmed specifically to certain kinds of workflows. It has been developed by award-winning visual novel author Snek with the express purpose of writing and finishing visual novels.

Leverage Your Godot Knowledge

DIISIS doesn't care where it writes its text to. It's all references to vanilla Godot Control nodes so that you can build your UI exactly how you want. Similarly, all dialogue advancement needs to be called by you explicitly. Regardless of how you handle input in your codebase, DIISIS will integrate with it.

Arbitrary Code Hooks

The autoload ParserEvents contains a plethora of signals for your nodes to connect to. DIISIS also supports the calling of custom functions from LineReader scripts or autoloads, including argument hinting!
