Dialogic is alpha software. I couldn't get it to work, so I find this gem. This Plugin just works. It receives regular updates, and the plugin is production ready unlike Dialogic. Seriously the best Dialgoue Plugin, don't skip.
My preferred dialogue solution for Godot. It's easy to learn and use, but very powerful and polished.

This is a simply written and well thought out program. Easy to maintain and extend, together with a massive community and regular updates. There are also a number of community plugins that integrate with this addon, such as for quest management. If you need dialogue for your game, then you're in the right place.

Best addon for visual novels
One of my favorite assets. The language is easy to use, intuitive, and extremely powerful. It's easy to inject dependencies to create custom functionality. Being stateless is also a huge plus.
Nathan Hoad has been a valuable contributor to the Godot community — Dialogue Manager being one of many. It is incredibly flexible to suit your project, easy to use, and constantly being improved on. This addon is so powerful that you can use it for in-game cutscenes.
Used it since the Godot 3.x days, and still using it. It keeps improving with each update, with new features and bug fixes, and it easily integrates with other addons in the project, even big ones like Pandora. The best dialogue addon in my opinion!
MAN this plugin is great! It's easy flexible to write dialogue in and to manipulate it's UI to your liking. Coming from an RPGMaker background, this was a godsend. Can't recommend it enough!
Really works well. Flexible and good documentation and support. Constant updates, and setting it up to work with other scripts for things likes quests is a breeze.
I've been developing games for a while now, and this is by far the greatest dialogue manager I have come across. It is extremely easy to use, well documented, and Nathan does a great job supporting it with updates, tutorials, and examples. I've been using this asset for a while (I believe it had another name back in the day) and I am very happy it's still supported and updated. 10 outta 10 can't recommend this enough.
By far the most flexible and easy-to-use dialogue solution I have tried with Godot. It's awesome!
