Sunshine Clouds
A full rebuild of my original Sunshine clouds plugin, this time entirely using the compositor system, contains everything you need to have fully realized volumetric clouds in your game, along with editing capabilities to in-editor paint where you want clouds, and have dynamic updating of the clouds at runtime using the cloud effectors and lights.
Features
- Fully volumetric clouds, extendable as far from the camera as you want with the correct settings
- Easy Setup (besides getting the addon installed it comes down to like 3 clicks)
- Performant (I use resolution options with upscaling and depth handling, allow for soft clouds at low resolution you can still fly through)
- Soft visuals, or cartoony, styling options allows for a wide range of options
- Entirely procedural, or paint in clouds using the editor tools, able to paint in density as well as color to tint clouds differently depending on region
- Cloud effectors allow you to add or remove clouds at runtime using power and radius from a node
- Cloud lights allow you to insert point lights into the clouds to achieve whatever style you want
