A tiny, free (MIT) drop-in game-feel kit for Godot 4 — the little effects that make a game feel good, in one clean autoload.
▶ Playable browser demo (click to punch)
What's inside
- Trauma-based screen shake — small hits stay subtle, big ones punch
- Hit-stop / freeze-frame on impact
- Sprite flash and fade back
- Pooled floating damage numbers
- Elastic scale "pop"
No dependencies, no editor bloat. Godot 4.6+.
Usage
Juice.shake($Camera2D, 0.6)
await Juice.hitstop(0.08)
Juice.flash($Sprite2D)
Juice.damage_number(self, global_position, 25)
Juice.pop($Icon)
