A stylized procedural sky: horizon-to-zenith gradient, sun disc with glow, haze above the ground and animated cel-shaded clouds. Open the demo scene and the finished picture is already on screen.
What it does
- five cloud patterns: billowing, feathered streaks, round puffs, diagonal bands and connected cotton
- posterization bands flatten the clouds into steps, from one step up to eight
- the coverage slider moves the cloud edge smoothly while the edge itself stays hard
- stretch, swirl and wind speed on separate sliders, the clouds change shape as they move
- sun disc with glow, aimed by hand or taken from a DirectionalLight3D
- directional gradient: a glow over the side of the sky you pick, with angle and spread on sliders
- colour grading in the material: exposure, contrast, saturation, lift, gamma and gain
- two ready-made materials: clear daylight and warm dusk
The whole sky is drawn by the shader, with no textures and no cubemaps. The clouds are a pattern computed on the fly, so they drift and change shape without any baked animation. The sky also feeds ambient light and reflections, so the scene below picks up its colour.
There are 38 settings on the material, in six inspector groups (Zenith and Horizon, Sun, Sky Gradient, Atmosphere, Color Grading, Clouds): 23 sliders, 12 colour fields, 2 toggles and the sun direction. Both shipped materials are a starting point for your own sky, not a locked look.
The demo scene is complete: ground, light and a few shapes, ready the moment you open it. The camera orbits with the mouse and both presets can be swapped while it runs.
