This is a PBR photorealistic clean steel material created in Substance Designer. The Godot version includes 4K texture exports for all maps and comes with two material presets: one using unpacked textures, and another using a neutral Albedo with ORM maps. This version uses only Godot’s default shaders. I plan to include my custom shaders in a future update, but they’re not ready for release yet.
There are also several other textures included that aren’t used in the default setup, but I figured I’d include them in case they’re useful for your specific workflow. The included texture maps are listed below:
- ( A ) - RGB = Albedo
- ( AR ) - RGB = Albedo | A = Roughness
- ( BN ) - RGB = Bent Normal DX
- ( H ) - Grayscale = Height/Displacement
- ( N ) - RGB = Normal DX
- ( NA ) - Grayscale = Neutral Albedo
- ( NOH ) - RG = Normal DX | B = Ambient Occlusion | A = Height/Displacement
- ( ORM ) - R = Ambient Occlusion | B = Roughness | M = Metalic
- ( R ) - Grayscale = Roughness
All normal maps are in the DirectX format, and my import setup already accounts for this. If you're backporting the materials to an older version of Godot, just reference my import settings, which are from Godot 4.4.1.
Enjoy, and I look forward to seeing how the Godot Marketplace grows!
