Rapier is my go-to physics library for Godot. Not only is it highly performant but the way it works makes a lot more sense to me and allows me to write more efficient code. For example if I want Tilemap terrain to block the movement of some RigidBody2Ds agents I set the Tilemap to have the appropriate Mask and put the RigidBody on the appropriate layer. This means the Agent does not need to be aware of Terrain, the agent's code requires fewer checks in its own hit detection; it only cares about other agents. I recommend this to anyone who wants high performance with many bodies. I've got 1500 rigidbody2D Agents navigating and running BTs at 60 FPS in my current project thanks to Rapier.
