This is a photorealistic PBR US flag material created in Substance Designer. It’s currently the only flag material I’ve made, but if there’s interest, I’d be happy to create others. The Godot version includes 4K texture exports for all maps and comes with a pre-setup material based on Godot’s default shader.
Additionally, several extra textures are included that aren’t used in the default setup, but I’ve added them in case they’re useful for your specific workflow. The included texture maps are listed below:
- ( A ) - RGB = Albedo
- ( AR ) - RGB = Albedo | A = Roughness
- ( BN ) - RGB = Bent Normal DX
- ( H ) - Grayscale = Height/Displacement
- ( ID ) - R = White MASK | G = Red MASK| B = Blue MASK
- ( N ) - RGB = Normal DX
- ( NA ) - Grayscale = Neutral Albedo
- ( NOH ) - RG = Normal DX | B = Ambient Occlusion | A = Height/Displacement
- ( ORM ) - R = Ambient Occlusion | B = Roughness | M = Metalic
- ( R ) - Grayscale = Roughness
All normal maps are in the DirectX format, and my import setup already accounts for this. If you're backporting the materials to an older version of Godot, just reference my import settings, which are from Godot 4.4.1.
Enjoy, and I look forward to seeing how the Godot Marketplace grows!
