Make room for one thing. Idraaak Focus Timer is a complete, editable Godot project for timing study, work, or reading sessions. Its quiet interface pairs a large countdown with a progress ring and explicit focus/break labels.
What is included
- Adjustable focus and break durations, starting at 25 and 5 minutes.
- Start, pause, resume, reset, and manual mode selection.
- A visible completion message and an optional short synthesized tone.
- A count of today's completed focus sessions and total completed focus minutes.
- Local settings and history, without an account or application telemetry.
- MIT-licensed GDScript source, a runnable scene, Web export preset, and regression tests.
How to use it
Import project.godot in Godot 4.7.2 stable and run the project. Pick your durations and press Start. Finishing focus records one session and prepares a break, waiting for your next Start. Breaks, resets, and unfinished sessions never add completed work. Closing and reopening restores settings and completed history, without counting the time the app was closed.
The project is useful as a standalone focus aid or a small, readable reference for an elapsed-time countdown, local persistence, and a responsive Godot Control interface. It is a full project, not an editor plug-in. All artwork is simple vector drawing, and its completion tone is generated in code.
Limits
Tested with Godot 4.7.2 on Windows and a single-threaded Web export in Chrome. Other engine versions, operating systems, and browsers have not been tested. Browser suspension can delay alerts until the tab returns; keep it open. Local browser records can be lost when site data is cleared, and simultaneous instances do not merge their records. There is no cloud sync, task planner, distraction blocking, or background notification service.
