A 1980s home, room by room. Three rooms come furnished and lit, and two of them have a night version as well - a teen room, a kitchen and a kids room you can open, walk through and take apart.

What is inside

567 models, one 2048x2048 colour atlas plus four dedicated sheets for wallpapers, movie posters, game boxes and screens. Every model carries collision.

  • Modular interiors - 4x4 m walls, doorways, windows, ceiling and floor slabs, skirting boards, cornices and corner columns that hide the seams
  • Furniture - beds, desks, wardrobes, shelves, tables, armchairs
  • Props - posters, boxes, books, clothes, carpets, lamps, household items
  • Computers and consoles - home micros, cartridges, diskettes, joysticks
  • Toys - board games, telescope, robots, walkie-talkies, skateboard, vehicles
  • Collectibles - vinyls, pennants, movie posters, road signs
  • Electronics - TVs, cassette players, headphones, radios
  • Kitchen - appliances, pots, food, containers

118 object scenes under Prefabs/ hold the props built from several parts: bookcases with drawers, walls with doors, appliances with glass fronts.

Five demo rooms

Scene Contents
ChildRoom 130 props, day
ChildRoom_Night the same room after dark - moonlight through the window, dust in the air, fireflies
Kitchen 152 props, day
YouthRoom 211 props, day
YouthRoom_Night 213 props, night

Each room ships with its own lighting, a WorldEnvironment and a camera set to the framing used in the screenshots. Nothing is baked, so you can move a wall and the light follows.

Building your own room

Rooms are built from modular 4x4 m wall pieces. Start with walls, a ceiling slab and a floor, then drop furniture on top. A wall takes its wallpaper from the material rather than the mesh, so six patterns share the same geometry and you add a seventh by adding one stripe to the sheet and one material.

Screen effects

A screen shader adds film grain, a vignette, a touch of chromatic aberration and a tinted glow. Each room has its own material for it - dial the grain down, or delete the node to turn the whole thing off.

Requirements

Godot 4.7.1, Forward+ renderer. The pack is self-contained and needs no plugins.

Licence

Free for personal and commercial use in your games. Reselling or redistributing the assets as standalone files is not allowed. No credit required, though it is always welcome.
